Spring Information Session
All lake residents are invited to the Cedar Lake Recreation Area to hear updates, address concerns, pay dues, and meet your neighbors!
Safe Boating Course
The Sturbridge Lake Advisory Committee is planning a SAFE BOATING COURSE which is recommended for all watercraft operators. Stay tuned for more information!
Kayak For A Cause
Meet us at a lake location TBD to kick off a paddle event! Paddleboard, kayak, canoe, or row around the lake after making a donation to a cause close to the hearts of our lake community members!
Fourth of July Boat Parade
Get creative and decorate your boat to join us as we parade around the lake! In the past, prizes have been given for most creative and most patriotic… start brainstorming! The parade starts at 2pm near the Sturbridge Host Hotel!
J.B. Poker Run
In memory of one of the greatest CLA Members, John Brogan, this event has become a community favorite! Five host houses will be distributing playing-cards to each visitor. Tie up to their dock for a bite to eat, a cold drink and your card. After you collect 5 cards, bring them to a location TBD to play your hand at 6pm!
Cedar Lake Assoc. Annual Meeting
All CLA Members and lake residents are invited to the Town Beach to discuss details of the year, concerns, and wrap up the lake season! Topics include voting for officers, discussion of weed treatment, and an update on any projects, sponsorships and funds. Your voice matters !
Dock O’ Treat
A GREAT event for adults & children! Similar to the Poker Run, you’re invited to dress up in your best Halloween costumes, decorate your boat, and visit host houses around the lake for treats! Up to you whether you stay a while, or head off to the next house. A great way to end our boating season and fun for all ages.
